I am Dr Ed Gold, the course director.
I really like teaching and training and it is a great joy to see the Consultants growing in confidence as the course progresses.
My base specialities are Emergency medicine, pre-hospital care and retrieval.
In my spare time I run a charity that coordinates health related projects in other countries.
I love doing combat sports, being outside, playing music and hanging out with my wife and 2 amazing daughters.
Jo Stevens
I am a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Prehospital Emergency Medicine, working in Cambridge at Addenbrooke's Major trauma Centre and for two regional air ambulance services.
I have a special interest in Medical Education and have completed a PGCert in MedEd. I hate CPD for the sake of it and my goal is to make all training relevant and valuable for adult learners.
I live with my family and dog in the middle of the East Anglian Fens and like being outdoors as much as possible.
CHris Cann
I am an EM doctor in London and flight doctor working for EHAAT. I have a passion for resuscitation and human factors and a particular interest in understanding decision-making in emergency situations.
I have been working in simulation education for the last 10 years and love unpicking the dynamics of different clinicians and teams working through these scenarios.
Outside of work I can be found destroying his kitchen while trying to cook unnecessarily complicated dishes or going on walks into nature with my wife.
Emma Butterfield
I am a registrar in Intensive Care Medicine in London. with experience in pre-hospital emergency medicine in East Anglia, London and Australia.
I have also worked clinically in Latin America and Africa.
My research and education interests are in humanitarian medicine, particularly in conflict and disaster.
Outside of work, I love trail running. mountains in summer, and learning new languages.
